LADIES SELF DEFENCE

 

This dynamic 6 week course has been specially designed with women in mind.

It is not your high discipline, low personal tolerance martial arts class. It's about

learning some very easy practical physical techniques with a strong emphasis

on avoiding such situations in the first place. And to have some fun!!

The students receive:

AJS Self Defence manual

Embroided T- Shirt

5 weeks physical and strategy training (1 hour per week)

Week 6 is the written and physical test 

A certificate of completion with percentage score.       

The basic structure is a light warm up and stretching. Then to some ritual but simple martial art blocking and striking. Next a feedback session on simple common sense to avoid such situations. Then onto the very effective yet simple physical self defence techniques of which there are only 10; each designed with simple/ common attack poses.

Safety is the number one consideration. So risk assessments are conducted on not only the techniques, but on the venue that is used.

There is a minimum of 10 and maximum of 22 students in any class (industry standard is 1 instructor : 22 students). Taught by ACCREDITED instructors ONLY!
